Aoi(Ah-oh-ee) Ohara, based in Los Angeles, is a Japanese graphic designer and art director with 12+ years of experience in the advertising and fashion field.

She was born in Tochigi, Japan. Inspired by her Korean grandfather, she became interested in foreign cultures and studied at a Canadian international school. After graduating in 2013, she started working at an advertising production company in Tokyo and was in charge of many Japanese top-notch companies.​​

In 2022, unquenchable curiosity and boundless creativity drove her to Vancouver and she acquired design skills by working at a design company and a fashion show company.

Now she works at an advertising company based in Los Angeles with clients around the world from the cultural, luxury and consumer goods sectors across branding and digital design.

Moreover, she is currently working as "a_n" with a fashion photographer Asae Wakabayashi.

Aoi is passionate about empowering others to develop into all they're capable of, which is why she loves working in a team. Outside of Work, you can probably find her drinking coffee and searching for a new plush toy mate.
